hela Sverige We are currently looking for a Software Engineer to join our Platform Services team. It is a unique chance to build a platform and tools enabling developers at Polestar to be heroes.
Let us describe the challenge we offer
The main purpose of the Platform Services team is to enable developers to focus on developing services with high efficiency. The platform is modular and built around serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, DynamoDB etc. The platform embraces the DevSecOps methodologies to ensure quality and security. The stack is mainly based around Node.js, Typescript, React.js, GraphQL and .NET.
Platform Services is a cross-functional team consisting of highly skilled software developers and architects. With a broad and deep skillset, they manage the core components and infrastructure within Polestar Digital, such as AWS, CloudFlare, ElasticSearch, and other self-built tools such as Feature Toggle, CLI's and more. All the while upholding great developer relations and support to the Polestar developer community.
This position is located at our Lindholmen office in Gothenburg. We understand that work-life balance isn't easy, and of course, welcome our employees to work flexible hours and from home a couple of days per week if needed. We believe in empowerment.
What you will do
As a Software Engineer in Platform Services you will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders on the continued evolution the technical platform, architecture and other capabilities with an ambitious and progressive mindset.
Tasks you will be accountable for:
• Continuously improve the platform and the golden paths for developers
• Together with your team build and improve applications and tooling for other developers
• Through demos and coaching support other teams to improve their use of services
• Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to create a positive developer experience and scalable & secure platform

To be a great fit for this position we believe you have:
• Deep knowledge around AWS, distributed architecture, DevOps and related tooling
• A full-stack, front-end or back-end developer, already familiar with or willing to learn either Node.js, React.js, Typescript, .NET core, C#
• A seasoned engineer with insight into new technologies and trends, as well as relevant programming experience
• Thrives in a DevOps environment and finds motivation in building a platform that is effortless to operate. You value open- & inner source, infra as code and data-driven development and can enable these principles through the platform.
