We are looking for a Software Engineer for one of our teams in Stockholm focusing on developing the core Episerver CMS, Commerce and related products.
Ideally you bring experience of building APIs and extensible frameworks and/or services as well as application implementations. You are self-motivated and like to collaborate with your colleagues to find the best solution that solves the problem, considering architecture, cost of development and cost of ownership. You are comfortable with working in a fast-moving agile environment and working closely with User Experience Designers, Product Managers and other stakeholders.
As Software Engineer you will
Develop, maintain, test, document and support Episerver's products and services using good engineering practices to achieve high quality and support long-term lifecycle of the products/services
Develop, maintain, test, document and run the Episerver platform and services built in .NET Core and on Azure, collaboratively with team and stakeholders
Ensure product quality by developing and applying thorough automated testing techniques supported through CI/CD workflows
Contribute to architecture and design discussions within your agile team
Collaborate on task grooming, organization, and scope together other engineers, engineering leads, User Experience Designers, Product Managers and other stakeholders
Grow by maintaining an awareness of the state of technology, engineering techniques, and best practices
About you
You have around 5 years of experience working with modern development practices in professional organizations.
You have a passion for building high quality, highly maintainable software, minimizing complexity. You own what you produce.
Your expertise is developing solutions in C# .NET (Core).
You are a real team player who enjoys solving problems together.
You have an understanding and interest for building and maintaining applications/services as well as extensible libraries/frameworks.
You have a master's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Ideally you have experience building large JavaScript applications, preferably in React, and/or experience building distributed applications using cloud technologies, preferably on Azure.
You want to grow and learn from the best as well as share your knowledge with others.
Experiences with the following technologies are also advantageous:
Designing and building solutions based on Episerver CMS or Commerce
ASP.NET (Core) MVC
React with Redux, or other JavaScript frameworks
SQL as well as NoSQL databases
Containers and container/service orchestration
Developing on cloud services, in particular Microsoft Azure
HTTP APIs / REST services / GraphQL
Git
