Software is an essential part of our world-class command & control systems. We have been growing our business, Come join us, we are looking for a manager for a new SW section.
Your role
You will manage a section with highly skilled software developers, working mainly with our Air C4I Solutions.
As a manager and member of our management team, you will support and commit to a broad view of the organization and business. Together with the team you work both strategically and operational to reach the goals of the organization.
To support the projects within our business unit with skilled SW teams you coach both individuals and teams to have the right competence and skills at the moment and also increase it for the future. You also need to collaborate cross domain, product and organization to fulfill the bigger project's needs.
As manager, you are responsible for the health and environment for your staff as well as cost center budget and result.
Your profile
You are a manager who leads by growing your staff to perform and feel well.
You have very strong collaboration-, leadership- and change management skills. You like challenge status quo and seek out new perspectives. You are characterized by a coaching attitude and a prestige less willingness to succeed and deliver at all times.
You have at least a bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent education and experience as well as in-depth knowledge of software development. To do well in this role you need excellent Swedish and English skills, both verbally and in writing.

What you will be a part of
You will be a part of management team consisting of five other SW managers working closely to support the organization with the right competence at the right time.
The position is based in Järfälla, Sweden and travel is required, mainly to local sites in Gothenburg, Luleå and Karlskrona.
You will be a part of Business Area Surveillance, Business Unit Combat systems & C4I solutions.
