We are looking for an innovative and passionate java developer to join our agile team with a focus on securities trading.

About the job This is a role where you focus on developing our digital services. The role includes working with requirements specification, design and implementation of technical solutions based on technologies like Java, AngularJS and REST.

You will be a part of a true crossfunctional Agile team in the Equities, Investment Products and Securities Services Valuestream.

On the java platform that enables Swedbanks' Equities offering; you deliver business value to development features and also perform application maintenance on the solutions. In this role you are expected to independently write and improve Java code.

You will play a key role in resolving incidents, identifying and implementing preventive actions and delivering application changes. You have to be able to read, understand and interpret complex business and technical subjects with your colleagues in the agile team.

What you need to succeed Experienced Java-developer, at least 2 years practice of Java/Web development (J2EE)
Familiar with Unix and Oracle DB
Have experience of application servers as well as JSP, JSF and HTML
Know how to use REST-principles and JSON-Knowledge and experience on JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, Git and AngularJS Frameworks
Have worked with test frameworks (Jasmine/Karma)
Experience of TDE, MQ and MessageBroker implementations are favorable

Are you also experienced in the Equities area, and know the business processes and system solutions for handling Equities business from order to clearing and settlement, it is a major advantage.

You should be able to take responsibility for activities and operate independent, or with your team colleagues, depending on situation. It is important that you are analytical and work methodically since a part of your assignment consists of troubleshooting.

As a person you can handle stressful situations, are a team player and have a can-do attitude. Good communication and cooperation skills, as well as good understanding of spoken and written Swedish plus English.
