Edgeware now serves more than 70 customers in over 25 countries in all parts of the world.
We are seeking a Software Engineer in test to our headquarters, located in central Stockholm. As a Software Engineer in test you will examine, measure, test and validate our purpose-built hardware and software.
You will work in a development team as an integral part of the development process to ensure that our systems stay predictable and testable. Your primary responsibilities will be to perform exploratory testing and to develop automatic tests. You will plan, lead, execute and evaluate test efforts and also develop new areas in test automation.
You have relevant work experience and preferably an academic degree in computer engineering, computer science or similar. You have programming skills and are preferably familiar with Python. Working in a Linux environment is not a problem for you. Experience in TCP/IP, network programming and testing tool development is also a plus. You have a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach and you are a self-starter who enjoys working both independently and in a team.
Since we have our headquarters in Stockholm and a strong international focus, with employees in seven countries and customers across the globe, it is important that you master Swedish and English in both speech and writing. You are also able to communicate both internally and externally.
