Transform the way the world runs networks
The Opportunity
In your role as a Software Engineer II in Data plane team, you will work on our ActiveLogic product family.
You will design, develop, test and maintain a variety of features that is required for our high-performance platforms.
The team focus on low level functionallity such as drivers and packet handling.
We are looking for a self-going, highly motivated developer with a keen interest in Linux.
The position is placed in Varberg, Sweden.
The Job
Develop and maintain Linux applications and high performance network drivers
Design and implement new features in our products
Help our support teams with troubleshooting in customer deployments
Keep improve product performance
What skills you bring:
Bachelors or Masters degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science
Experience in Linux development.
Excellent programming skills in C
Strong understanding of kernel level modules like Scheduling, Memory management and IPCs
Strong understanding of Networking Concepts like TCP/IP, Switching and Routing.
Debugging and troubleshooting using KDB, Profiling tools for CPU and memory
1+ years of Experience in Networking product development
1+ years of experience in software development in the Telecommunication Industry
Understanding of Openstack components and relevant experience is desirable
Understanding of virtualization technology, libvert, kvm, qemu is desirable
