About the job Continuous Integration and Deployment is transforming our way of delivering value to our customers. One of the strategical goals of Swedbank Digital Banking is to shorten Time-To-Market for innovative business ideas and products, and CICD Team in Tech Streams plays a fundamental role to achieve this goal.
Our long term vision is to enable code deployment into production every day with the push of a button, and you will join a team which strives to make this bold vision achievable. CICD Team consists of highly skilled colleagues, and we expect you to bring in fresh technical perspective to contribute our CICD journey and transform the way we deploy code into production.
What you need to succeed Most importantly, you have a proactive mindset and eager to try different ways to tackle tasks and issues you will be facing - You will need a creative and open-minded approach to solve them!
You follow latest trends in the industry and always strive to learn something new and develop yourself. Being hungry for learning and new knowledge is something highly important for us.
You have solid technical skills and hands-on development experience.
You have a strong background in one of the programming languages - Preferably Java or Javascript.
You have very good knowledge in software pipeline automation and build tools, such as Git, Jenkins, Gradle and Artifactory.
You understand why using a Source Control Management tool is highly critical in software development projects and you are familiar with different branching strategies.
You are aware of the benefits of using a pipeline automation tool for new builds and ready to contribute to its development and maintenance once it is in production.
You are familiar with different types of software testing methodologies and test automation frameworks. You feel competent to guide other teams and software engineer when needed in this area.
You understand main principles of CI/CD and ready to drive Swedbank digital development channels to that vision.
You feel very comfortable with CLI and UNIX/Linux environment.
Knowledge about TCP/IP, Networking, Containers (Openshift, Docker) is a plus.
You enjoy working with a team of highly talented minds, look for feedback for solving your problems and happy to assist other team members for their issues.
You think out of the box and solve problems that occur unexpectedly.
