The department, In-Car Digital, is part of the Vehicle Software & Electronics unit within P&Q and is responsible for electrical systems and components in the areas of Driver Interaction (Instrument Cluster, Entertainment Displays, Switches, Climate Control), HMI and Infotainment (Audio, Navigation, Telephony, Bluetooth, Connectivity).
What you'll do
We are now looking for Software Engineer/Developer for the Antenna System Team area within department In-Car Digital. As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a team for the Multimedia Agile Release Train (ART). You will be working in a team with different stakeholders in order to secure the needed software deliveries and development for all antenna components in the worldwide Vehicle Programs. Antenna Team consists of around 12 skilled engineers.
You mainly work tasks:
* Requirement engineering, break down of top-level requirements as you are the bridge between System Design and the Software design
* Ensure alignment and traceability between system and software requirements
* Ensure alignment between Supplier and in-house software requirements
* Responsible for maintaining and update the interfaces between the different software parts
* Together with your team take overall responsibility for the team's deliveries and quality
Do you fit the profile?
We believe that you have a University Degree in engineering, preferably within electronics, power electronics or embedded system or equivalent by work life experience. On top on this, you have some years of experience in the automotive industry and have worked with requirement engineering before. You are familiar with AUTOSAR architect and development. Since we are a global company, it's important that you are fluent in English. You should also have a driving license (B) and preferably you love cars as much as we do!
It's meritorious if you are experienced in KDP and Teamcenter together with knowledge about Volvo Cars product development process.
Location for this position is onsite in Gothenburg, Sweden from where we expect you to be able to work with adequate working permit.

Your documentation, cooperation and communication skills are great and you need to be driven by a system-software thinking, how things are connected and interact with each other.
