We are now looking for the best engineer to join us as colleague. WHAT DO I DO? Your team, Core Product Platforms, is responsible for the video and the CPU subsystem forming a large part of our different technology platforms. The platforms are the foundations for all Axis products. You will play a very important role using your engineering abilities to strengthen our agenda in future platforms and this position is hands-on in a very skilled and technically strong team that values individual growth, teamwork and great spirit.
In the position you will occasionally travel to meet global platform vendors in US and Asia to work on our latest technology agenda, evaluate, set requirements and make sure that we together get the best possible platform solutions.
You will work in projects enabling our video system and smart features with deep learning edge solution backend including HW acceleration of various algorithms. WHAT'S MY RESPONSIBILITIES? Experimenting and develop new functionality to enhance our platform portfolio as well as looking ahead will be part of your daily work.
You work in the platform with Linux kernel, device drivers for different subsystems (like CPU, GPU or DSP) in the core runtime environment.
Enabling new product features and mastering complex challenges triggers your engineering skills to walk the extra mile.
To optimize embedded system performance and power usage is very important areas that triggers you to fully utilize your engineering skills.
You like to work in the team with high pace to secure the early board bringups and professional HW diagnostics when the new latest SoC arrives and continue the thrilling development path until we can launch the new competitive products.
You push boundaries, learn a lot, aim for joint excellence and have fun! QUALIFICATIONS? You are a talented engineer with a genuine interest in SW development in close cooperation with HW SoC platforms.
You always take full responsibility to deliver quality solutions for Axis with high work pride. You are challenged by, and enjoy, complex bug defeating, optimization and to truly enhance quality in the different platforms and products we develop. You have skills in Linux kernel and device driver frameworks or experience from similar development close to HW SoC platforms Due to the fact that Axis values teamwork very high, you cannot stress enough to contribute with good spirit and welcome the different agile working methodologies used in our projects. You are a gifted and energetic person with the ability to work unsupervised and interaction with new people comes naturally for you. You have a Master's degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, electrical engineering or similar and are a dedicated individual with a strong personal drive.
