Gridcore AB is a systems integrator, software and services provider mainly involved in Technical and Scientific Computing. Gridcore is also the provider of Gompute, an On-demand service for High Performance Computing. We are currently in the process of strengthening our development team. Specifically, we are interested in engineers with analytical, programming and problem solving expertise. You will have an opportunity to work on clusters with cutting edge technology and to learn and experiment with new technologies.
If you have good hands-on experience and feel at home working with Linux, interested and excited in designing, developing and maintaining products mainly developed with Java, Python and Shell scripting, you might be a good fit in our team.

Profile: Software Engineer
Your main responsibility will be designing and developing our Gompute Software stack, including services for our Gompute HPC On-Demand service. You will be part of a highly dynamic team, where the priority of the day's work can change within minutes. You must have a very strong liking to problem solving and programming, be open with ideas and propose possible ways in which things can be improved.
Technical Skills:
• Very comfortable with Linux and open to using Windows.
• Skilled in programming with Java, Python, BASH scripting.
• Ready to troubleshoot and analyze code written in C/Fortran.
• Knowledge of JavaServerFaces, PostgreSQL, JDBC and ability to propose UI design is a plus.

Profile: Release and Operations Engineer
Your responsibility would be split between managing and improving our release management procedures, maintaining our build processes, scripting and automating tasks, working with our customers in implementing our products on site and contributing to maintaining our HPC on demand operations. Apart from this, you will also be free to contribute to product and service development during off-release seasons. You must have a very strong liking to problem solving.
Technical Skills:
• Very comfortable with Linux and open to using Windows.
• Skilled in BASH and Python scripting.
• Existing knowledge of RPM packaging and Java programming is a plus.
