hela Sverige We are looking for engineers who want to join us in developing the next generation of electronic surveillance and defense systems used in platforms such as Global Eye and Gripen. You will develop complex systems for orchestrating distributed subsystem operations in embedded platforms to evaluate, aggregate and present critical mission and diagnostics data to operators.
Your role
When you join us, you will become a member of one of our software engineering teams developing system and platform control software. This entails collection of system diagnostics, managing system configuration, orchestrating subsystem functionality and interfacing external systems. We implement this functionality in applications on specialized hardware running embedded Linux or real-time operating systems.
We are currently developing new products and need to expand our teams. The problems we face require creative problem solving in close collaboration with your colleagues. Together with your team, you will design, implement and test solutions to practical problems.
The main tasks are:
* C++ development for system and platform control, as outlined above, including testing and optimization
* System design and architecture
* Contributing to the success of the team by helping your colleagues
* Solving the problems faced today, while taking into account the likely problems down the road
Your profile
You are an inquisitive individual and you enjoy interacting with people. You ask questions to move forward. You appreciate the balance between doing things right and doing things fast depending on the situation at hand.
Required skills:
* Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar
* Minimum three years of relevant experience
* Communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written
Desired skills:
* Experience developing C++ applications for embedded Linux
* Experience working with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment methodologies
* Experience working in agile teams using SCRUM, KANBAN or similar
* Experience of scripting in Python, Groovy and/or bash
* Experience working with Git
* An inquisitive and practical mindset
* Drive to gather the information required to solve a problem
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
