hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Skf Condition Monitoring Center (luleå) AB i Luleå The Condition Monitoring Development and Production Center (Lulea) has an immediate need for a Software Engineer with a minimum of 4 to 6 years related experience. The successful candidate will be an active participant in all phases of the development process, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing and installation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Performs complex analysis on architecture, design, programming, and modifications of computer programs for software products and/or customer applications.
2. Designs and implements new applications and/or modifications to existing applications in accordance with SKF?s quality and code conformance procedures, utilizing code analysis tools, peer-to-peer reviews, bug tracking tools etc.
3. Writes and reviews user requirements, engineering requirements, design and test specifications.
4. Performs unit testing, system design verification and validation proofs.
5. Provides documentation of designed functions sufficient for technical publications and marketing communications.
6. Prepares or helps with software installation media and supported documents for software products releases.
7. Interfaces with marketing and customers to elicit requirements for new design functions, applications or alterations to existing applications.
8. Performs project tasks estimates.
9. Provides assistance with customer support issues as required. Develops action plans for critical customer problems.
10. Assists in providing training to Technical Support Group and Quality Assurance personnel of new designs.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. High Experience with C# or VB.NET
2. High Experience with SQL Server database engine and SQL Queries
3. High Experience in user interface design
4. Familiar with WPF
5. B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years of related experience
6. Proficient in the use of Visual Studio, Word, Excel
7. High Energy focus on quick problem solving
8. Strong organizational and time management skills
9. Basic understanding of web-based data solutions
10. Excellent Swedish and English communication skills with both technical and non-technical people
11. Ability to translate business requirements to engineering specifications
12. The ability to excel with minimal supervision
Additional beneficial experience:
1. Experience working with international development teams
2. Experience with global cloud systems
3. Experience with Subversion and OnTime systems.
