SUMMARY:
Infor is looking for a highly motivated and versatile individual who is a self-starter, who works well in small dynamic groups, and who is not afraid to contribute his or her ideas and opinions as a software engineer on our product development team. We desire someone who eagerly accepts new challenges, can adapt well to change, and is willing to learn.
This position focuses heavily on new technologies including SQL, XML & OLAP. The applicant will initially develop a Business Intelligence Analytics Solution used to access our Enterprise Business Vault. This role will involve a strong knowledge of multiple database technologies including OLAP as well as experience with f ION Business Intelligence is a must.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop Business Analytics Solutions using ETL, SQL, OLAP using ION Business Intelligence tools.
• Extend and enhance the development environments that are used to build and generate new business applications.
• Work with n-tier web technologies including .net, HTML, XML, JavaScript, Silverlight, Java, IIS and Apache.
• Develop core interfaces to existing ERP applications.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science.
• Work experience in Business Intelligence.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Team oriented and should be able to effectively provide input into the functionality of the product and different technical approaches.
• Apply excellent technical skills along with continuous refinement in advanced programming techniques to increase speed of work while not compromising quality.
• SQL Server and OLA Database
• XML and other translational tools like xSL
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
• .net, C#, Java
• Graphical User Interface design
• Web Services.
