CellaVision is an innovative, global medical technology company that develops and sells leading systems for routine blood analysis and other body fluids in healthcare. The Applications teams within the Innovation & Engineering Department develop what allows customers to use CellaVision's tools to streamline workflow. Now, the I&E department is growing and a new team within Applications has been formed. As a Software Engineer you will be a part of the new team with colleagues that have great expertise in image analysis and machine learning.
We use an agile approach where the team jointly takes responsibility for taking all new functionality through implementation, code review and testing. At CellaVision, we have a decentralized organization, with short decision paths and a focus on collaboration. Our work environment is innovative, and we never let a good idea go to waste. The position reports to Development Manager Applications 2.
Key tasks
• Software development in mainly .NET/C# but also C++.
• Requirements specification, development of new code, searching for bugs and optimizing legacy code.
• Working with relational (SQL) databases
• Graphical user interface (GUI) development.
• Writing design descriptions and various reports.
• Testing of acceptance criteria.
• Participating in the collection of image data sets.
• Participating in optimization and evaluation of image analysis algorithms.
Qualifications
You need to have
• Master of Science or equivalent in related field.
• Experience in developing Windows applications in .NET/ C#.
• Experience in creating user interfaces.
It's an advantage if you have
• Experience in C++
• Experience in working in an agile environment
• Experience in automated testing
• Experience in machine learning
• Experience in image analysis

This is a full-time position, with start in March 2020 or as soon as possible. The position is based at CellaVision HQ in Lund, Sweden with new offices, good infrastructure and commuting possibilities.
