We are now looking for a Software Engineer to join our Product Maintenance team.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
In the Product Maintenance team you will be working close to the Technical Services and Sales organization to provide support and technical expertise. The exciting challenges of this role will range from investigating and solving issues in the field to providing advanced development services to Axis partners and customers.
You will play an important part in providing outstanding service to our customers and partners, especially in the demanding Enterprise segment. The role therefore includes some travel opportunities, to visit our customers and partners and to attend conferences.
THE TEAM
Product Maintenance is a unit within R&D, responsible for supporting the products on the market. We work close to the sales and support organization world-wide and help them in their day to day struggles. Our team work specifically with firmware and is part of the Global Maintenance Organization (PMT), which deals with all type of cases from Hardware to System Solutions. We even started an initiative to provide 'Professional Services' to our partners and customers, developing and charging for fully customized solutions.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer with skills in C programming, Linux environment and network and telecommunication. You enjoy working with a variety of tasks in complex environments and appreciate working and solving technical challenges together with the company's partners and customers.
It is desirable that you have experience from working in a technical support.
You have an ability to engage in discussions with others, focusing on problem solving. You are a good communicator who can communicate professionally with external parties (customers and partners) in English or Swedish.
