hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos u-blox i Malmö AB i Malmö Our software team is looking for an engineer to design and develop the tools and applications we use during development and testing of our embedded systems. You will take ownership of these tools and applications and work closely with our development and customer support teams to enhance and improve current functionality.
You will be part of the software team which designs, develops, and verifies software for short range radio modules, mainly Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, to make IoT become a reality. You will work directly with the developers who use these tools to do their job, receiving rapid feedback on features and functionality, and gratitude for making their jobs more enjoyable.
The tools include both desktop and mobile applications, so you will have the unique opportunity to develop software for multiple platforms, in multiple languages, as a regular part of your job. You will get to work on a desktop application for configuring and testing embedded hardware, add features to Android and iOS applications, and design and develop brand new tools. You will often do all of these things in the same day.
You will enjoy being a part of our small agile teams which strive to constantly improve our software development process, explore and implement new practices, and produce better products. Your work will be performed closely with other teams - such as production, customer support and hardware design - which will lead to a good understanding and overview of the complete projects and products.
Primary Tasks
Maintain and develop applications for Windows, Android, iOS, and others
Support architectural decisions
Support project planning and management in an agile environment
Technical Documentation (English language)
MS or BS in engineering
An interest in working in multiple languages and platforms
Experience in C#, Java (Android, Kotlin), iOS (Objective-C, Swift)
Team player but can work independently
Great communication skills
Experience within usability is an advantage
Knowledge in version control (preferably Git) is an advantage
Wireless knowledge in general and Bluetooth and/or WLAN knowledge in particular is an advantage
Good English and Swedish skills
Holder of a Swedish work permit
