Work description
At Advanced Technology and Research, there is a need for developing the perception and control platforms for autonomous trucks.
Currently with short term need, with possibility of extension, to fill a vacant personnel slot.
The person needed is to work with rapid prototyping environment, which is based on Matlab Simulink and additionally utilizing dSpace software/hardware.
The nature of the vacancy that is to be filled is of limited time, and the person to fill it needs to be able to adapt to the system very quickly.
The expectation is for this person to deliver quality code and models quickly, and to integrate into the department existing teams.
Additional Requirements
Personal skills needed (industry experience, international experience, software, material etc.)
An experienced software developer needed with a strong background in real-time and rapid prototyping systems for automotive applications, with minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience. A signal processing and/or automatic control background is highly desirable. Crucial technical skills include software development, version control, unit testing, and real-time systems. Crucial personal skills are a problem solving-mindset, a drive to get things done, and an ability to quickly grasp complex problems and dependencies. Experience in Matlab/Simulink is key, and dSpace desirable, as well as knowledge in SVN and/or Git.
