Do you want to be a part of building the world we want to live in?
Right now, we are looking for a Software Engineer - PLM to explore what digital solutions and digital services we need to provide for our PLM Core Product.
You will help us to understand business requirements in the eBOM, sBOM and/or mBOM areas. You will cooperate with stakeholders both within and outside the company to ensure we focus on the right things.
You will communicate with stakeholders in VCE to understand the needs in our business and communicate with various Volvo Group functions that are maintaining solutions we use, but do not create ourselves
Opportunity description:
You will secure the work for maximizing the value of the digital products resulting from the work of the team(s)
You will lead the work for effective product backlog management, which includes:
Convert business needs into IT deliverables,
Ensure solution fulfills IT architectural landscape,
Discuss items in the backlog with the business,
Secure excellent IT architectural competence,
Drive the work needed for integrations with other systems together with their representative,
Cooperate with Digital Product Owners.

You have experience and knowledge in Windchill development and customization.
You have a good understanding of and preferably experience from working as a Java software engineer and appreciation of the purpose and the practices of real agile ways of working.
