About the job:
Development of a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) written in Python, using Flask and PostgreSQL.
Continuous improvement, administration and maintenance of the application.
Required qualifications:
Experience with PostgreSQL (or equivalent)
Familiarity with Git
Experience with back-end web-development; ideally with Python/Flask
Experience with frontend technologies like HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, including the ability to deploy and manage containerized applications in a cloud environment.
A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred, but not needed if the candidate has sufficient work experience.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders both in person and remotely. Fluency in Swedish is a plus.
Not required but a plus:
Familiarity with CI/CD
Familiarity in Agile methodologies and development processes
Experience working in a regulated environment
Primary location: Lund, Sweden.
Hours: This is a full-time position.
