We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Software engineer to join our esteemed team in Östersund. As a software engineer at Train Planet AB, you will have the opportunity to contribute your skills and expertise to support our longstanding commitment to customer satisfaction in a great work environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a software engineering related field
Willingness to relocate to Östersund and work on-site
Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in web development using Java, PHP, SQL, SOAP, Azure, and AWS
Strong knowledge of software development and tracking using Python, SQL, Selenium, Git, Jira
Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, Debian/Ubuntu
Knowledge in low-level computer philosophies, such as multithreading, networking, inter-process communication, and Win32 API
Strong interest and passion for continuous learning and improvement
Reference letter from one of your previous companies
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a team of professionals to develop and maintain software systems
Solve complex technical challenges using your programming skills and knowledge
Optimize existing products and stay updated with industry advancements
