As a software engineer at Excillum you will work in a broad role and play an important part in the development of new products as well as improvement of existing products connected to our X-ray systems' software. For the development of the software, we are mainly using C ++ and Python in a Linux environment. Your team's tasks are, among other things, to work on finding an as precise "X-ray spot" as possible.
You will also...
• Develop and implement algorithms to enhance x-ray performance
• Design and implement SW infrastructure
• Work closely with Excillum's customers to understand their needs and be able to integrate with their systems easily
• Work with hardware integration, testing, CI/CD and error handling
• Develop and support the GUI/HMI of the sources

I started my journey with Excillum 6 years ago as a software engineer and have learnt a lot by working with the incredibly skilled team here. On top of this, you also have...
• A couple years work experience within software engineering with strong knowledge in C ++
• A M.Sc. within the fields of engineering software, physics, electronics, mechatronics or similar obtained knowledge
• Professional knowledge in English, both written and spoken
We see it as a plus if you have experience working with Python or Yocto.
