About the position:
We are looking for a software Engineer - Test to be responsible of the Kits test environment and the automation of it. You will be part of a growing team that continues to show the third party
developers how the UIQ Platform evolves with the latest technologies, standards and UI design for upcoming mobile phone releases.
Working tasks will include software design and implementation of test applications and test components. The work will be tightly integrated with the developers, producing excellent test solutions for
the components and applications developed. You will be involved in the entire development process, from requirements analysis to system verification. During testing we work in a virtual environment
using VMware.
Education & skills:
A university degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar.
You need to have knowledge of the following:
• Proven Script language skills (e.g. PERL, Python, PHP)
• Proven computer skills, especially in a Windows environment
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and writing skills
• Knowledge within the following areas is advantageous:
• Experience of development environments, such as Visual Studio and Netbeans
• C++ programming skills
• Understanding of embedded systems
• Experience of test tool development and test automation
• Experience of successful deliveries of test tool solutions in development projectsExperience of performance, stability and security testing
