The Steering ART (Agile Release train), part of Vehicle Motion, is responsible for the delivery of the complete Steering systems in our vehicles with the goal to make us the leader within Driving Experience Steering
Steering is an area that undergoes fast changes to meet new requirements from autonomous driving and other functions that makes the vehicle more fun to own and drive. We are an innovative team with positive energy that enjoy working with new technologies, in collaboration with other leading companies in our area.
Now we are searching for a dedicated colleague for the Steering ART who will work as a Software Engineer.
What you will do
You will be responsible for the development of the Steering SWRS (Software Requirement Specification). That means being the main contact person for the software requirement internally and externally towards our partners.
You secure that software components are verified in cooperation with component testers, component suppliers and you should support the organisation with your competence in test and verification activities.
You will manage technical internal and supplier reviews.
You will gain experience by participating in the development of the technology strategies within the area of competence.
Do you fit the profile?
When it comes to education, you have at least a bachelor degree in science. Preferably in Electronics, Mechatronics or Software engineering. You have work experience of software design.
You will work in an agile environment, so we hope you enjoy this!
Occasional travel is required, around 2 times a year.
We are a global company, so you must be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Since a big part of your daily job will be in interaction with others, we want you to have good communication and cooperation skills. You like working with others! You to take responsibility and initiative.
You have a driving license B - and preferably, you love cars as much as we do!

Meritorious qualifications
* Experience of software design both model based and non-model based
* Experience from working in requirement management tools such as System Weaver, Elektra or DOORS
* Experience in the automotive industry
* Knowledgde of ISO26262
* Experience from testing and fault tracing in embedded system
* Experience with Autobox & dSPACE application and modelling
* Experience of managing suppliers
