Job Description
We are now looking for Software Engineers to join our Performance Engineering team who will be responsible for analyzing, testing, and optimizing the performance of our software applications, ensuring they meet high standards of reliability and efficiency.
As a part of the Developer Experience unit, you will play a crucial part in providing actionable insights that help the Product Teams to enhance the performance and reliability of our product and services. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the product teams to understand their performance requirements and design comprehensive test plans accordingly.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
Balance performance optimization with other development considerations such as functionality, security, and time-to-market.

Utilize various tools and techniques, such as load testing, stress testing, and capacity planning, to ensure that our applications perform flawlessly even in the most demanding scenarios.

Enhance the end-user experience, ensuring our applications perform at their best even under high loads.

Work with cutting-edge technologies and complex systems, pushing the boundaries of performance optimization.

Support the adoption of performance CI/CD guardrails, ensuring that performance considerations are integrated into the continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

Prioritize performance improvements effectively, make data-driven decisions, and communicate the value of performance engineering and the performance CI/CD guardrails to stakeholders.

Collaborate with talented engineers and cross-functional teams, contributing to the delivery of high-quality software products.

Qualifications
Strong proficiency in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner and JMeter
Experience in designing and executing performance tests for various scenarios (load, stress, endurance, etc.)

Solid understanding of performance analysis techniques and tools for identifying performance bottlenecks

Knowledge of performance testing in microservices architectures and containerized environments

Proficiency in performance monitoring and profiling tools like Dynatrace, AppInsights, Splunk, Grafana

Knowledge of web protocols, network protocols, and their impact on application performance

Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, TypeScript, Bash etc.) for test automation and performance analysis

Experience in building and maintaining performance testing infrastructure in Azure cloud.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose performance issues and propose effective solutions

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Also good if you have,
Experience with cloud-based performance testing and monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor)

Strong proficiency in performance testing tools such as K6, Azure LoadTest

Experience in designing and executing chaos tests

Familiarity with performance optimization techniques, including code profiling, caching, and database query optimization
