About the position
Perido is looking for a Software Engineer for our customer, a major player in the automotive industry. If you are available immediately or in the near future and want to take on a full-time assignment as a Software Engineer, you are most welcome to send in an application today! Your daily tasks
As a key developer and leader, you will play a critical role in shaping the development processes. We are seeking a hands-on senior developer with expertise in Python and CMAKE. In this role, you will design, build, test, and integrate software, ensuring alignment with deliverables and deadlines. Your work will involve software that operates on both emulators and actual hardware.
The department spans a wide range of responsibilities, including areas from car feature development, SW build tools, CI pipelines, and system analysis. The teams are working in an agile way, with great independence, ownership and trust. You'll be joining a supportive and collaborative team with a warm, relaxed atmosphere, where your contributions will be highly valued. The software developed will be deployed on emulators, hardware rigs, and eventually in the vehicle itself.

Qualifications:
A degree in Software engineering
7 years' experience developing Software/Tools in a Linux environment.
4 years' experience in Python
Experience using GIT/Gerrit
Agile SW development
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Meritorious
CMAKE
Bazel
C++
Experience from ISO26262 and ASIL compliant development
Experience from Automotive industry
Zuul and Jenkins
ConfigHub/Artifactory
Contract type and hours
