hela Sverige UCG/ Radio Support is a consulting company specialized in support to the telecom and electronics industry. Mostly in the design/verification and test/industrializing areas. We have an office at Kista in northern Stockholm but are operating all over Sweden.
For our customer we are looking for a Software Engineer with experience in Multimedia Applications.
The client's Multimedia Platform section is responsible for the Multimedia Application Programming Interface, a service layer used by 3d party java application, focusing on streaming and audio. They also handle the common service layer towards the platform provider and Audio interfaces. For example; the Multimedia platform section provides the Media player with audio channels and content to play.
In the role as a software engineer, you will work closely with the Multimedia application teams and our platform supplier. The main tasks will be:
# Design, develop and maintain related software
# Take an active role in the different ongoing software projects
Qualifications:
# University degree within the area of software or computer engineering.
Required skills:
# Well documented programming skills
# Experience in Java and/or embedded software C programming in particular is a
merit
# Interest and competence within music, metadata and audio formats is a bonus.
We also expect you to have:
# Good communication skills - willingness to co-operate with colleagues around the
world
# Ability to work independently and in teams
# Analytical mind with a great interest of the latest technology
# Good communication skills in the English language, both verbal and written.
