hela Sverige We are currently hiring a Software Engineer to join our Nordic Engineering Wayside team in Stockholm. We are looking for a profile that enjoys the borderland between math and programming to work with a complex product that governs how rail traffic is managed in a country.
You like technical problem solving, software design, coding and own testing in a friendly and help oriented team environment. We are looking for someone with highly analytical mindset who can focus on independent work and projects.
Key Responsibilities and Challenges
• Design and develop the software for computerized interlocking - the brain of the signaling system
• Identify and formalize customer requirements, design and implement new functionalities; test and verification of our products
• Document safety work
• Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant field (e.g. Mathematics)
• Software engineering knowledge; relevant work experience is a plus
• Ability to work with and understand complex products
• Experience from a relevant safety-critical field is a merit (e.g. railway, medical devices)
• English fluency is required; Swedish fluency is preferred
• Knowledge of safety-critical embedded development is a strong advantage
