About the team
Catalog Software Engineer (Full Stack)
We are an inspirational cloud-native team with a reputation for developing high-quality and delightful user experiences with a focus on metadata management. The team is entering an exciting new phase. Our mandate has now expanded to developing high-quality backend micro-services with a focus on metadata, profile and lineage services supporting our SaaS platform for the Qlik Sense product suite. We code in C#, GoLang and ReactJS.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks
Designing, coding test, troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, documenting, and delivering backend data services written in C# and Go.
Helping drive architectural direction and decisions.
Working in close collaboration with other software engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
Competencies and skills:
The skills and qualifications required for this role:
Deep knowledge of C# and/or Go.
Knowledge of NodeJS, Javascript and React, an asset.
Comfortable working with MongoDB.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Comfortable working in test-driven development environment, familiar with automated testing frameworks, and passionate about creating defect-free code.
Exposed to Agile development practices.
Self-starter capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
Must be able to interact effectively with other team members, management, and clients.
Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
Experience & Qualifications
Desired experience with successful track record in one or more of the following areas:
3-5 years or more of software engineering experience.
Education
Relevant university degree.
Location
Gothenburg, Sweden.
