We are now looking for a Software Download Engineer to join our Fantastic Team!
Who are we?
Implementation Support is a unit within EEVC (Electrical, Electronic & Vehicle Connectivity). Our mission is to give support to test vehicles in projects and rigs within the Physical project build process. We provide this based on our broad, deep and solid knowledge both of the traditional and the distributed Electrical system. This in combination with genuine complete truck and Volvo systems knowledge makes us an outstanding partner in a variety of EEVC/ESA projects.
We are a group that always drives to make results in our missions. Our colleagues from other units often look at us as heroes for finding the problems in their projects. We are a tight team that always helps each other
Your role in our team
Together in the team we support projects in early phases. Your part will be to single-handed support the vehicle fleet with software download and general electrical related issues. You will also focus on parameter setting of ECUs and minor trouble shooting in both rig and truck environment.
Who are you?
To be successful with your tasks we believe you are result oriented, like to collaborate with different parts of the organization, can adapt to different situations and balance different stakeholder requirements.
You have experience from working with electrical and electronics in vehicles and from automotive development. You also have a good understanding and interest of vehicle electrical architecture and knowledge of reading electrical schematics.
Other requirements for this role is that you have:
Engineering degree
At least 5 years of experience within automotive, electrical/electronics engineering
Good communication skills in English & Swedish, both spoken and written is a must
