About the Role
As a Software Developer at Tracab, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable real-time applications using NodeJS and TypeScript. Your work will drive game statistics and player tracking at leading sports venues worldwide, with results you can see live during games.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain server-side applications with a focus on real-time systems.
Implement and optimize communication channels such as WebSockets.
Build scalable, high-performance APIs and backend services.
Deploy and manage containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
Optimize data handling with MongoDB, Redis, and RabbitMQ.
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and troubleshoot issues.
Qualifications
We are looking for a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken. You should have a proven ability to tackle complex problems with attention to detail and write clean, maintainable code.
MSc in Computer Science or equivalent expertise.
Proven experience as a Software Developer specializing in NodeJS/TypeScript.
Familiarity with real-time communication technologies like WebSockets, handling high-throughput, low-latency requirements.
Strong experience with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in MongoDB, Redis, and RabbitMQ, with an understanding of their optimal use cases.
A track record of developing scalable, high-performance applications
It's meritorious if you have experience with languages like Go or Rust. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines or microservices architecture are also valuable.
