Do you want to develop software for better climate? Software to simulate and select Air Handling Units is central in designing optimal indoor climate and energy efficient buildings. It therefore contributes both the indoor climate and lower energy consumption.
About the position
We are seeking an ambitions, customer focused and creative software team lead. As team lead you will drive the development of simulation and selection software for Swegon Air Handling Units. The software takes building data and simulates the behavior of products in the building. It also lets customers and internal experts select the product to best meet the demands of a specific building. It is a bit like configuring a car before ordering, but the configuration actually simulates the thermodynamics of the product and the building. Simulation and digital models open up the possibility to implement digital twins and AR solutions to optimize real world performance of the product. It also provides input to AI for optimization of buildings, products and service. As a team lead you are responsible to deliver on ongoing projects and identify how to best meet the future. You are leading a DevOps team and will have the end-to-end application responsibility. Swegon has ambition in the area you will be part of cultivating software excellence in the construction industry.
Areas of responsibility:
• Engage with stakeholders throughout the organization to collect and trim requirements
• Develop and maintain the software roadmap
• Lead project activities related to agile software development
• Manage releases of production critical software
• Lead DevOps activities towards zero defects
• Contribute to software architecture and integration
• Progress and priority reporting to managers across the board
• Understand the context and lead Swegon to the best selection software in the industry, and beyond
• Cultivate software excellence through speed, business focus and quality
Your profile
You are a professional with an overall understanding of the application needs of a multinational business. You are communicative and you are experienced in project management and software development. You are a doer who can drive a development area independently.
Requirements:
• Ability to lead software development
• Experience from software development
• Energy and strong communication skills
• Good level of English
• Your personality is important. You need to be able to lead software development and inspire to go "beyond decent code".
Extra plus if you also have experience or knowledge from the following areas:
• Software Architecture
• CAD and BIM tools such as Revit
• ERP systems
• Ordering and manufacturing of configured products
• IT security
