www.fingerprints.com Fingerprints is looking for two Software Development Managers to join us in developing world class future biometric systems for mobile phone, smart cards and other portable devices. Fingerprints is a leader in the development of capacitive fingerprint sensors and designs the whole system, from advanced custom silicon devices and microelectronic packaging, to algorithms and software for fingerprint recognition and applications on the target devices.

The role
You will lead and develop your team making sure that we utilize our resources efficiently and constantly improve our ways of working. You will be part of the Software management team where we work together setting the software technology roadmap, the objectives for the software organization and identify joint improvement activities.
As a line manager you will support development of project plans, management of project schedules and project deliveries. Resource planning and securing to bridge competence gaps are essential. You are also responsible for setting the budget and following up the results.
You should have a strong focus on the development and well-being of the individuals in your team. You have the responsibility to secure an attractive career path for your team members in line with the strategy of the company and you will perform performance talks and salary setting.
The work location is Malmö and you will report to our Head of Software Development.
Your background
• M Sc in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a leader and a genuine interest in people development
• Passion for efficient software development and an interest in biometrics
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Ability to travel abroad to our subsidiaries, partners and customers (max 15-20 travel days annually).
