We are currently looking for a Software Development Manager (SDM) to join the Core Betting Team - Core Betting are responsible for building the transactional bet placement and settlement systems that power our Sports Platform.
As a SDM you will lead a number of small teams, supporting a group of Backend software developers based in Barcelona and Stockholm. You will be heavily involved in defining the platform and technology strategy for your teams and will be accountable for the delivery of the services being built. You will also be accountable for the development and growth of the engineering teams.
What you'll do
You'll develop people and teams through coaching, mentoring, and management
You'll partner with the Talent Acquisition team to hire and onboard engineers
You'll work closely with your team and external stakeholders to enable sustainable, effective delivery
You'll facilitate collaboration with developers and product managers to solve problems across our platform
You'll grow the technical expertise of your team
Who you are
You are an engineering leader for teams building highly transactional systems
You possess a backend engineering background
You are passionate about transformational leadership and invested in developing both great engineers and great teams
You are able to apply agile and lean principles to solve problems at any scale
