The Challenge
As a Software Development Manager based in Malmö , Sweden , you not only have the technical skills to roll up your sleeves and provide technical leadership to major projects, but also to manage a team of highly skilled engineers. You structure your own time as well as making sure engineers are able to optimize theirs by removing impediments that interrupt their work. In this role, you manage your project goals, contribute to product strategy and help develop your team. Our software teams work in areas such as Human Machine Interface (HMI) Software, Operating Systems, Device Drivers, Internet of Things, Cloud Development and others; the list goes on and is growing every day. Operating with scale and speed, our world-class software engineers are just getting started -- and as a manager, you guide the way.
The manager is also responsible for continuously improving processes related to these activities, such that projects are completed efficiently and at a high quality. Members of the team may be located in multiple regions around the globe, and the leader of this team must be able to manage in a distributed and cross culture environment.
Our Software teams are working according to the Agile Methodologies Scrum and Kanban.

What will I need to succeed?
To succeed you will have a strong degree in a related technology discipline coupled with at least 3 years' experience of managing software development teams in an international environment.
Your great organisational skills together with your excellent communication approach means you can demonstrate success in motivating a team through complex projects requiring innovative problem solving.
As a person you will be able to show a positive attitude and alignment to our core values of Drive, Commitment and Trust.
It is a must that you are driven by the desire to continuously improve both from a personal as well as a technical and processes knowledge perspective.
As a result you will be able to clearly identify yourself as a leader for the future.
