We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our technology team. As our new Engineer you will focus on design and develop components for our flagship product ?Translation Workspace?. One main aspect will be the development of the XLIFF translation editor. You will be part of a small and focused software team and will be involved in all aspects of the software development process, from definition of requirements to packaging and deployment.
Main Tasks
As a Software Engineer you will design, develop and deploy new features and functions as well as enhance and maintain existing capabilities for Translation Workspace. You will be developing a new web based version of a translation editor, design, specify and implement systems using multiplatform Python as well as design, specify and implement Web UI using JavaScript. You will work closely with other Engineers to ensure the highest level of technical quality, security, scalability, interoperability and stability in all products that are developed.
Qualifications & skills
As a Software Engineer you have experience in developing desktop applications and user interfaces as well as experience with XML based technologies. You know how to design and build maintainable, extensible software that works in the real world.
We think you have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Technology or equivalent experience with minimum two years of professional experience as a Software Developer. You have good working experience with JavaScript.
Ideally, you also have experience with JavaScript frameworks like ExtJS, working experience with MySQL and/or other SQL dialects and are familiar with Python as well as C++.
