We are now looking for more Software Development Engineers to join our Software Development and System Test Team in Gothenburg!
Our Software Development and System Test team is responsible for the software in the end-product (mobile phone, smart card, door locks etc.) as well as for the production test tools, product development tools and demo tools needed. We create windows applications and platform independent tools for different target platforms. We develop device drivers and integrate our biometric solutions into various embedded systems. Our team is responsible for the full life cycle of this SW, from requirements and design, to implementation, test, maintenance and customer support.
What you will do
As a Software Development Engineer, you will design, document, implement or modify our software components related to our SW and SW tools. You will manage requirements including change requests and assist system design function to break down the requirements and do detailed design work.
At Fingerprints you will be given opportunities to be a part of a team that is responsible for all aspect in the Software design, a design that are used by millions every day. As a member in the Software and System Test team you will have a large possibility to affect the work and the final product by your own ideas. You are expected to use your drive and commitment to implement your ideas together with your colleagues.
Who you are
• You are a true team player with a positive problem-solving attitude
• You are curious and open to learn new things and driven by a deep technical interest
• You bring your ideas and willingly share your knowledge with others
• You are structured and thorough with good communication skills and
• You can drive assignments independently
• You have excellent skills in C/C++ and are familiar with C#
• You have experience from working in Windows, Linux and/or Android
• You are familiar with agile principles and know how to make use of git/gerrit and Jenkins in your daily work
• You are experienced in debugging issues and are proficient in scripting, e.g. Python and bash
• You have a Master university degree within relevant area or equivalent work experience
