Clavister was founded 1997 in Sweden. It’s R&D and headquarters is situated in Örnsköldsvik and is in a phase of international expansion. Clavister needs to expand the Product Development Unit with two skilled Software Developers and one Senior Software Developer, who will be working primarily with development of Clavister’s network security products. The positions are based in Örnsköldsvik.
Job description
The Product Development Unit is responsible for all development, production and maintenance of the products in the Clavister product portfolio. The unit is also responsible for research-related activities based on the current product portfolio, as well as research tasks aiming at developing new products within the scope of Clavister's core business.
The dominating activity in the Product Development Unit is software development with all its tasks, such as design, implementation, testing and so forth.
The role as a Software Developer is to work primarily with design (advanced system design for the senior position), implementation and testing of software subsystems in Clavister products.
Who are you?
Ideally you have a relevant university or corresponding post gymnasium degree and a few years of experience (3+ years for the senior position) working in a software development in ANSI C, specifically for real-time systems and hardware-related development. You have thorough understanding and experience in TCP/IP-based network communications. Experience, knowledge and interest in the area of network security, firewalls and VPN products specifically, is a strong benefit. You have the ability to quickly learn new technologies and software and you are fluent in technical English, both spoken and written.
We are looking for responsible individuals who are used to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in larger teams and projects.
