Our customer is a large consultancy company within IT/R&D with an international working environment. Their local office is located in Malmö but the assignment will be performed in Lund.
Publiceringsdatum2012-02-08Dina arbetsuppgifterThe assignment will be to handle new development and maintenance of old code within the text input area. Writing test cases to cover new code will also be part of the assignment.
The work is done in an agile way using scrum.
The Android Software Text Input Section is looking for a software developer. The Text Input Section is responsible for Text Input and Text Rendering. The Lund team handles all international keyboards except Japanese and Chinese keyboards. The assignment will include new development, maintenance of old code and test development.
ProfilMS in computer science or equivalent
• Professional software development experience in Android and Java
• Experience in C and C++
• Knowledge from test development
• Experience from agile software development
• Fluent in English (written and orally)
• Demonstrated innovative and creative problem solving capabilities
• Highly professional attitude, with the ability to deliver high quality work on tight schedules
• Quality mindset and strong customer focus
• Strong inter-personal and collaborative skills
• Self-driven and motivated personality, possess independent thinking and demonstrate pro-activeness
• Effective communicating skills and a good team player who sees success in the team's success
