Test & Continuous Integration sector within Compute and Digital Silicon PDU (Product Development Unit) is looking for new team members to our teams in Kista to ensure Ericsson success with the digital transformation. Ericsson is at the heart of this development and is shaping this future!
We are currently looking at investing in key competencies in a few selected areas. We want to grow our teams and hire someone who will work with our Integration, Node Level Verification and Automation strategy to develop, implement and maintain a cost efficient and future prof test design, automation and test environment to meet our customer needs.
New competence area for AI & ML is introduced, and we are focusing on the establishment of CI and test environment for new AI algorithms for our multi standard radio base stations.
In our PDU we are developing the next generation of 5G Basebands, Radio Processor units, Radio Gateways, next generation ASIC & FPGA's and Common HW for Power and Site solution together with the related software.
This role aims to increase our efficiency in verification and automation in the Radio, Baseband, Street-Macro and Radio Gateway Area test area mainly. Are you up for a new challenge?
You will
Actively participate in the product development cycle: review system solution, test analysis, test execution and engage in product introduction
Play a meaningful role in system integration of HW/SW and test activities on Node/RAN level: plan and execute testing, master the complexity of test environment, take part in troubleshooting
Work on test automation and delivery test cases into CI loops
Initiate and drive continuous improvements of products and processes on a team or higher level
To be successful in the role you have
Highly knowledgeable on Baseband and Radio on node level and preferably platform software part
Extensive experience or high potential in testing, troubleshooting, problem-solving and system thinking
Proven experience in test automation based on MJE/JCAT and very good knowledge on Java language
Genuine interest and understanding of Lean and Agile concepts
Outstanding interpersonal communication skills and ability to build networks
Bachelor/Master of Science in Telecommunication or Engineering and equivalent formal education
Proficient in English, both in oral and written
