We 're currently looking for a Software developer with QA focus, as our R&D-site in Linköping is growing at a fast pace. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new product team within AXIS Body Worn. Join our journey and help us create cutting-edge solutions for wearable cameras tailored specifically for police officers, security guards, and first responders!
Who is your future team?
At Axis in Linköping, we work in small teams where all team members share and collaborate on all the tasks of a software team. We also have the benefits of working at a small, growing site, together with the advantages of the large company's strengths.
As a team you assume the end-to-end responsibility for an entire vertical from user experience and development to verification, release and deployment of software services related to the AXIS Body Worn cameras. To ensure that we always maintain high quality, we build quality into the system as early as possible in the development process. Any defects must be found quickly, as much as possible by means of automated tests, so that they can be corrected as close to the source as possible.
What you'll do as a QA software developer
As a QA-focused team member, you have the leading responsibility for driving your team's QA activities. We don't see you as the tester of the team, but rather that you are the force behind making sure that the team as a whole plan and execute on the QA strategy. In this role we expect you to have good programming skills since we believe that your success will come from working as a fully integrated part of the development team.
The responsibilities of the role include:

Participate as a dedicated team member in everyday teamwork

Take an active part in implementing and testing all aspect of the product

Drive the test coverage and balance in between automated and manual tests
*
Together with other colleagues drive continuous improvement of our DevOps chain
*
Learn and search for new ways to improve how we work
We 'd love to hear that you have:

Programming skills with bonus points if you are familiar with C#, .NET, TypeScript, React and Node.js.
*
Working knowledge of test automation
*
Working experience of testing web applications
*
A dedicated teamplayer
*
Interest in test automation tooling and strategies
*
Its meritorious with working experience with performance tests and/or security related test activities
