Swisslog are looking for a Software Developer!

Do you have a great technology interest and like to solve problems with other people? Then read on because it might be you that we are looking for!

We are looking for a developer for Swisslog's team in Partille who is working on customizing their product SynQ, which is the brain of the automated warehouse. Swisslog works in everything from smaller projects where they integrate Autostore (Google gladly!) Or the high-layer crane into large projects where they combine subsystems such as lightweight cranes, pallets, autostore, shuttles, picking stations and much more.

Swisslog works with the brain itself in the automated warehouse that calculates when and how to pick orders and store in order to optimize flows and inventory. Most projects are different and there are many problems to solve: the flows in the warehouse must be optimized, the database load must be balanced and the user experience should be the right one. Swisslog works with customers throughout the Nordic region, eg; Volvo, Arla, Ica, Tine, Asko, Stadium and Lindex.

Your experience

• Master of Science (MSc) or Bachelor of Science in Automation / Electrical / Computer Engineering.
• Java (SE)

It is also an advantage if you have knowledge or experience in:

• SQL
• Java EE
• Web development
• Association or project engagement
• intralogistics
• Real-time applications

Swisslog is now undergoing an exciting phase, where they see many new technologies coming into everyday life as automatic robot picks, AI implementations and implementations of Industry 4.0. Swisslog has a close collaboration with their other teams in Europe, where there is great opportunity to work for periods.
