Nasdaq is now looking for a Software Developer Specialist to join Genium INET Trading team. The team consists of very skilled group developers working together to form the core functional and non-functional development of the Genium INET Trading solution.
The Genium INET Trading solution powers several big exchanges around the world, such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and the Nordic market.
As a Software Developer Specialist at Nasdaq, you will work with highly motivated and skilled colleagues in an international and dynamic environment. About the role and responsibilities
* Adopt a holistic view of the entire system layout and configuration
* Review business requirements and software design specifications
* Develop new complex functionality in an environment handling large volumes of data and demands for high availability
* Write and execute unit tests using continuous integration/delivery tools in order to get fast feedback in faulty situations
Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications
* Education Required: University degree in computer science, information technology, software development or similar/equivalent work experience
* Several years of work experience
Qualifications
* Experience with enterprise Java application development, C/C++
* Comfortable in a SCRUM and Agile environment
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop, train, inspire and motivate team to accomplish objectives
* Ability to build good relationships with peers, business partners, and clients
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
* Experience from working with financial systems is a merit
