In a truly international environment, you will work closely with clients and colleagues around the World building products with global impact.
You will be part of the Risk and Pricing Engineering team based in either Stockholm or Umeå delivering our products to high-profiled exchanges and clearinghouses. The work has a great impact on global markets meeting the ever-increasing demands of the post-trade value chain with regards to real-time risk and pricing of financial instruments.

Working with outstanding scrum teams consisting of highly skilled and experienced Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and Quality Assurance Engineers to secure efficient and qualitative customer deliveries of our products. Over time your role may evolve into different directions, either being a specialist in specific areas, taking overall responsibility for solutions as an architect, or being a team lead/manager. Your role and responsibilities:
Design solutions and write code of good quality that solves difficult problems in a distributed system with substantial demands on resilience and quality.
Contribute with your knowledge on how to design and build high-quality software to deliver production-ready solutions according to agreed specifications.
Be involved in all stages of the product life cycle; from design, implementation & testing to release & deployment to monitoring & troubleshooting to maintenance & improvement.
Impact what we build and how we build it by taking lead on small and big tasks within the project.
Engage in technical discussions with clients, leading up to designs and decisions around the solutions we deliver.
We expect you to:
Proven experience of at least 3 years of developing backend Java applications.
Bachelor or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or work experience in equivalent fields.
An outgoing and self-driven approach along with your sense of structure and creativeness.
Experience from highly complex, distributed, and resilient transaction-intensive systems
Experienced with Java 8+
Excellent written and spoken English
Meriting experiences: Financial markets, Typescript, React/Redux, Swagger/OpenAPI, ReactiveX, a love for Mathematics

This is a full-time position located in Stockholm or Umeå, Sweden. The position will include travel opportunities.
