Your workplace
Security and Defence Solutions, a business area of Saab, offers command and control systems, airborne early warning systems, civil security systems and solutions, training and simulation, as well as telecom carrier.
At the division for Communication Systems, we develop software based products and solutions for land-, naval- and airbased military communication systems. The department for communication development is located in Järfälla and Linköping. With Software Defined Radio (SDR) and Networking technologies as a base we do product development and research. Presently we are involved in several exciting projects with international stakeholders and are looking for skilled engineers and researchers to our sites in Linköping and Järfälla
Your role
Software Engineer
In our research and development projects we develop software application for different types of communication systems. You will be involved in specification, design, implementation and verification of software for communication solutions, as well as software for modelling and simulation of these systems. The work is performed in an international environment and in close cooperation with other Saab business units.
Your qualifications
You have most likely a master degree with some years of working experience. You enjoy team work, but are also able to work independently.
You are interested and have knowledge in:
• Software development in C++, also with GNU tools
• Data och radio communication
Experience in model based development using UML is also favourable.
