Since early 2000 we have supported our clients on a vast number of projects, all over the world. Our consultant pool consists of Swedish and non-Swedish consultants within the fields of embedded systems, online solutions and application development. Now we are looking for new candidates to come work with us as consultants, on-site with our customers in Sweden.

On behalf of our client we are looking for a software developer with strong communication skills, able to explain decisions and technical solutions in a pedagogical and confident manner. We believe that you are goal oriented and enjoy problem solving whilst keeping the bigger picture in mind. Our customer use agile methods in their development work and we are looking for a person who truly enjoys working agile.
The main focus of the assignment will be development tasks, which includes understanding the client's need, capturing requirements, writing design specifications and making architectural decisions, developing software, verifying quality and testing. You will also mentor and lead more junior developers in the team.
Required skills:
• M.Sc. in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years Software development experience in Python
• Strong analytical and software development skills and a talent for and interested in programming
• Experienced in customer interaction and requirement gathering
• Consider quality and test as a natural part of software development. Experience of test tools such as behave / Gherkin is an asset
• Experience of Continuous Integration and related tools such as Jenkins and goCD
• Experience of working within a scrum team or in similar agile project setups
• Familiar with Linux environment and shell scripting
• Good English
Start: March/April 2017.
Duration: 12-24 months onsite in Sweden, with a high probability for extension.
Extent: Full-time, 40h/week. Paid overtime can be requested.
Compensation: Negotiable. We offer a competitive salary, primarily in the form of a longterm employment and according to Swedish standards; governmental pension plan, five weeks paid vacation, iPad/laptop, mobile phone with data plan subscription, priority medical care insurance, health care insurance, income level insurance, work liability insurance, language course support, sports activity contribution. Paid transfer to Sweden including registered partner and children. When applicable, family members will get permit to live and work in Sweden.
For Schengen-citizens, there is also an option to undertake the assignment as a subcontractor to Telescope.
