Are you a change-maker?
For this position we are looking for a Developer to strengthen our Baseband Infrastructure (BBI) development. BBI provides execution environment, tools, and high level programming model for our many-core platform. This is the foundation for Ericsson fifth generation mobile systems (5G) but also part of the 4G, 3G and 2G systems. You will be part of a high performing development team and create a large contact network within both SW and HW development.
You will join the team developing our cutting-edge programming model consisting of a domain specific language (DSL) and code generations used for efficient utilization of our proprietary many core HW platform for massive parallel execution. Most of the code base is written in Java but assembly and C understanding is important since there are high demands on cycle and memory consumption of the generated code. You are also expected to contribute and commit related updates in adjacent and affected areas such as the kernel, build system and the rest of the 4G and 5G baseband applications.

Responsibilities & Tasks
Design, test, deploy, maintain and refactor code
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
Excellent knowledge in an object-oriented programming language such as Java or C++
Fluent in working in a Linux environment
MSc level in Computer Science or equivalent level of knowledge
Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
5 years of experience in advanced programming
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Experience from working with C and/or Assembly
Experience from working in a git/gerrit based development flow
Experience from work in a CI based development environment using e.g. jenkins or similar
Experience from programming of embedded systems
