www.fingerprints.com WHAT WE NEED
Our Software Development team is looking for an experienced Software Developer in order to strengthen our PC development team. The PC team is responsible for developing device drivers, integrating biometric sensors on different platforms and co-engineer proof-of-concept solutions with OS and platform vendors. This includes kernel mode drivers, user mode drivers, UEFI applications and embedded firmware. We work in close cooperation with our customers and partners in all different design phases.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
The role includes a broad variety of software development, driver development for FPC sensors, embedded solutions for peripheral devices as well as host applications. You will work closely with PC customers as well as partners. Typical technologies/areas are SPI, USB, Windows Biometric framework, TEE solutions and secure systems.
You will be working in a small team where initiative is encouraged and day-to-day work includes items such as hardware bring-up, cooperation with our Android and algorithm teams, SW development and assisting customers with integration and support.
IS THIS YOU?
You hold a Master 's degree within software development or equivalent. You are an experienced C developer with a good understanding of modern OS internals with minimum 5 years of working experience in the area of Windows drivers, driver debugging, WinApi, services and applications.
We also appreciate knowledge in low level Android/Linux development, hardware bring-up, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, cryptography and data security concerns.
You should appreciate driving assignments independently as well as in a team. Knowledge sharing is part of the job and good teamwork ethic is a necessity.
WHERE IN THE WORLD ARE YOU NEEDED?
Your home base will be in Göteborg or Malmö, Sweden, but prepare yourself for international travels to our suppliers, partners and customers.
