Our Software Development team is looking for an experienced Software Developer to strengthen our development team for PC and Embedded. The team is responsible for developing device drivers, integrating biometric sensors on different platforms and co-engineer proof-of-concept solutions with OS and platform vendors. This includes kernel mode drivers, user mode drivers, UEFI applications and embedded firmware. We work in close cooperation with our customers and partners in all different design phases.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
The role includes a broad variety of software development, driver development for FPC sensors, embedded solutions for peripheral devices as well as host applications. You will work closely with our customers as well as partners. Typical technologies/areas are SPI, USB, Windows Biometric framework, TEE solutions and secure systems.
You will be working in a small and engaged team where initiative is encouraged and day-to-day work includes items such as hardware bring-up, cooperation with our platform, tools and algorithm teams, SW development and assisting customers with integration and support.
IS THIS YOU?
The role requires a Master 's degree within software development or equivalent. You are an experienced C developer with a good understanding of modern OS internals with minimum 3 years of working experience in the area of Windows drivers, firmware development, driver debugging, WinApi, services and applications.
It is preferred if you have experience from working in Trusted Execution Environments. If you are a security expert (or at least have knowledge in the area) it is a definite plus. It is also preferred if you have knowledge in low level SW, hardware bring-up, and use of logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
To be successful in this role, you should appreciate driving assignments independently as well as working in a team. Knowledge sharing is part of the job and good teamwork ethic is a necessity.
