Your future challenge
Presently we are involved in several exciting projects with international stakeholders and are looking for skilled engineers and researchers to our sites in Linköping and Järfälla.
As a software developer of IP based communication products you will be part of a development team that creates products and solutions that have demanding requirements on performance, robustness and security. You will take part in integrating third party software components as well as developing own software components. You will take part in the complete development cycle from analyzing customer requirements, designing, implementing, integrating and testing software.
Todays demands
You hold an M.Sc. or have similar knowledge in software and IP based communication. You have likely already spent a few years developing software in this area. We are looking for candidates that have:
• Documented experience in network programming using TCP/IP and IP services.
• Experience of Windows, Linux and environments for embedded systems
• Fluency in C/C++
• Experience in open source software development
Place of action
Security and Defence Solutions, a business area of Saab, offers command and control systems, airborne early warning systems, civil security systems and solutions, training and simulation, as well as telecom carrier.
At the division for Communication Systems, we develop software based products and solutions for land-, naval- and airbased military communication systems. The department for communication development is located in Järfälla and Linköping. With Software Defined Radio (SDR) and Networking technologies as a base we do product development and research.
