PDU Base Band and Interconnect - the unit you will work within
Business Unit Network Products are responsible for the company's industry leading radio products and solutions and is the foundation for Ericsson's technology leadership. Product Development Unit (PDU) Base Band and Interconnect consist of approximately 2000 R&D professionals spanning R&D sites in Europe and Asia. The PDU is responsible for all aspects of Base Band and Interconnect HW and SW module development and their integration. The products are part of Ericsson Radio System. The PDU is heavily involved in product development for 5G.
We are now looking for newly graduated developers to strengthen our Interconnect teams.

Job summary:
You will be part of a highly competent cross functional team (XFT) of engineers responsible for developing solutions either in the team of Interconnect area or in the Synchronization area of Ericsson Radio System Products towards 5G.
The interconnect team is responsible for implementing Ethernet based node internal communication services and Radio Inter Connect (RIC) which includes SW and HW for managing 4G C1 (CPRI) and 5G C2 (Ethernet) communication links between Baseband Units, Auxiliary Units and Radio Units.
In the Synchronization area, you will be part of a team ensuring that the Mobile broadband applications get sub micro second time accuracy.
You are expected to participate in all the phases of product development cycle - product definition, architecture, design, scoping, planning, implementation and test.

You, as the successful candidate:
We are looking for a person with passion in software development who really wants to make a difference and doesn't hesitate to take on whatever is needed to get things done. Good communication skills and fluent in English is required as well as knowledge in the Agile process, and willingness to work in an Agile organization.
